About us
Art and culture in the service of healing
Aduma Adan is an art genre that explores the efficacy of art and culture in delivering therapeutic outcomes. Our exhibitions and workshops make space for experiences often carried in silence — and give people practical ways to process them.
From minimalist elegance to bold statements, each exhibit is a testament to the power of the imagination and the artistry of Cornelius Browne, a therapeutic art practitioner whose work explores racial trauma, embodied stress, resilience and healing.
The work is delivered with clinical support from a team led by Dr. Christina Browne, a consultant psychiatrist with the NHS, so that every space we create is both moving and safely held.
We work with schools, colleges, universities, faith groups, community organisations and corporate spaces, and can run multiple installations across the UK simultaneously.
